New Story "Performing Arts" at EGM Shorts

I'm a little behind in posting on my blog these days - just as I'm a little behind in having a baby, haha - but I recently had a new flash fiction story come out at EGM Shorts called "Performing Arts."  This was a story I had a LOT of fun writing, let me tell you.  Although the characters aren't based on anyone specific, my oldest daughter took ballet class about a year ago with a friend of hers.  The experience stuck in the back of my mind as one that had a lot of writing potential.  What could be more harmless than a bunch of little girls doing ballet?  And the story sort of evolved from there.
