Published "whenever I feel like it" (which generally works out to be about once a week, usually on a Friday or Saturday), I started cartooning in August of 2018 as a way of following my personal mantra of "Do something creative every day." Drawing cartoons of silly family situations helps me laugh at my own and my kids' foibles, rather than going nuts! Ha. You might see a TINY resemblance to actual people and events, especially if you know my family and me... or read my blog. But I want to stress that all of these cartoons are meant to be humor inspired by real events, and not necessarily the real events themselves.
I sketch and ink these by hand on plain paper, usually when I have a spare moment, and then scan and finish them in Microsoft Paint with my limited skills in computer graphics.
Hope you enjoy them! And please feel free to shoot me an email if you have any ideas for future panels. I can't guarantee I'll use every idea, but some of the best material I get is suggested by other parents. So a big thank you to everyone who's helped inspire a panel!
NEWS: For two years in a row, Toddler Times received honorable mention in the 2018 & 2019 Connecticut Press Club Communications Contest in the graphics category. In 2020, it took home 1st place! Very thrilled for the honor.
