Where to start? Lots has been going on this past month, not the least of which is me venturing out into the city to become familiar with my new digs in the Edmonton, Alberta area. Really having a fun time getting to know the writing and reading communities in this fair city, including joining a library book club (our first read was The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline) as well as meeting several local authors.

Speaking of great authors, I recently read Amy Bleu's In My Secret Life about the darker side of modeling. My book review was published in Coffee Time Reviews, and I highly recommend reading it (the book, not my review - although both are good reads).

In my own personal news, I recently had the privilege of being interviewed on Jerry's Circumlocation by Jerry Harwood. I'm also very thrilled to have received a 5-star review from Readers Views for The New Empire, in addition to author Jon F. Zeigler giving my book a 5-star review on his blog Sharrukin's Palace and labeling it as "very highly recommended."
