I recently read A. C. Smith’s The Wanted Lawman - a classic Western full of adventure, romance, gun-slinging, good guys and bad guys. The writing is really strong, with plenty of twists and turns, good touches of humor, realistic dialogue, as well as likable characters. It’s easy to root for the good guys and boo the bad guys - there’s little confusion as to who is who.
